Sentosa approached CYC to help in the development of 500 new staff uniforms as CYC is known for its capability to provide the right fit and has extensive connections with fabric mills all over the world. The designs of these uniforms, which were in line with the island’s new brand concept, The State of Fun, were presented to CYC.
CYC’s production team put together a prototype for the T-shirt, using a micro-mini mesh fabric with UV protection that looked sporty and could keep staff cool and comfortable working in the outdoors of this tropical island. The management was especially pleased that the fabric has UV protection as this helps to protect the staff from the harsh tropical sun.
The bermudas and pants are made of cotton fabrics that have soil resistance. The functionalities of the fabrics used for the uniforms gave the staff confidence in a management that cares for their well being.
